Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to sign a long-term contract? No. Monthly plans can be canceled at any time. Annual billing prepays 12 months at a discount; if you cancel mid-year, contact billing@XClause.com.
Can I upgrade my plan? Yes. You can upgrade from Starter to Pro, or add the white-label option to Pro, from your billing settings at any time. The change takes effect immediately.
Can I downgrade or cancel? Contact billing@XClause.com for downgrades and cancellations.
What are the payment processing fees on Pro? These fees apply to payments you collect from your clients through the platform — not to your subscription itself.
- Card payments: 3.6% + 55¢ per transaction
- ACH transfers: 1.1%, capped at $5.25 per transaction
Does the Starter plan include analytics? Yes. All plans include the analytics dashboard.
Does XClause provide legal advice? No. XClause is contract lifecycle software: templates, e-signing, and management tooling. It does not provide legal advice or attorney review. Have your own counsel verify documents for your jurisdiction.
